This fast paced world keeps people on the move and being able to get in and out at a doctor’s office fits the modern way of life. 1.) Hours: One way to improve your urgent care business is to stay open long enough to bring in a larger group of patients. Not everyone can take off work to come in to the urgent care; that’s just reality. Keep in mind that the standard 8am-5pm workers most likely won’t be to get off work and make it through the entire process by 6pm so closing at 6pm isn’t very convenient for that crowd. Take a look at your competitors for an idea on how long you should stay open. A lot of them will stay open until 7:30pm or 8pm. This can also work in your advantage for urgent care marketing! Blast the news that you stay open longer for patient convenience!

2.) Pre-Registration: You can have options for pre-registration to get patients in faster. These patient files being submitted online cuts down on the time it takes the patient to fill out paperwork in the lobby. Also, having online check-in options not only bumps up your urgent care marketing (as you can utilize this nugget to be ahead of the other urgent cares), but it makes your urgent care business more efficient.

These two changes might seem small and too simple, but it’s often the little tweaks you make that get you ahead. As stated by the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, “Everything changes and nothing stands still.” So, that means you have to be willing to accept change in order to make your urgent care marketing and business more successful.
